Rosa pisocarpa is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer pink flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and birds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in well-drained soil.

One inch bright-pink flowers are followed by rounded, pear-shaped, red hips which appear in clusters on this densely growing, thicket forming 6-8' shrub with its coarsely-toothed compound leaves. With few prickles on its stems and clusters of pink flowers, this wild rose thrives in lightly shaded locations and is a good candidate for the ornamental garden. BC south to Northern CA.
