Sempervivum Chick Charms® Watermelon Ripple™ is an evergreen groundcover cactus / succulent with green and red foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees and beneficial insects making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in average, gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Sempervivum Chick Charms® Watermelon Ripple™ is an historic garden plant with succulent foliage. Forms deep red to burgundy rosettes with emerald green tips and centers.
Watermelon Ripple makes a dramatic statement with large rosettes of rich red leaves mottling towards blue-green tips. The dangerously collectible Chick Charms series offers the boldest coloured and best-growing hen and chicks available. Sempervivum are super hardy requiring only full sun and excellent, sharp drainage, especially in coastal BC. Grow them as an edger for pathways or borders or in pots.
