Carex oshimensis 'Feather Falls' is a stunning striped weeping sedge on steroids like a big 'Evergold'. The narrow variegated foliage of white and green arches into large, lush, attractive evergreen hummocks and can be used in a border, near a water feature, in mass plantings, as an edger, and in pots and planters! Plumes of feathery flower stems emerge in spring. Though recommended for average to moist sites it is quite drought tolerant in shades. Deer resistant.

“Super-size” my Carex please! This vigorous plus size darling is evergreen and grows 12-18” tall and 2’ wide. The bright variegated foliage of cream and green will take more sun than other Carex without burning and the grassy foliage arches back in on itself creating a nice architecture and shape. Lots of short flower plumes in May. Prefers a decent soil with consistent moisture. Perfect in pots too.
