Punica granatum 'Nana' is a broadleaf deciduous shrub or tree with green foliage. In spring and summer orange and red flowers emerge followed by orange and red fruit. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.
