Saxifraga stolonifera 'Hsitou Silver', commonly called a strawberry begonia features spreading, round, gray-green fuzzy foliage with prominent silver veins and maroon undersides for an awesome display of variegation and colour. Airy clusters of white flowers bloom on tall, slender stems well above the foliage in summer. Long, strawberry-like runners produce baby plants. Growth habit is 3 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. Makes for a great spreading evergreen ground cover in the shady, woodland garden, in containers and as a trailing houseplant.
