A vigorous cultivar with broad, arching leaves to 3' long and brilliantly colored yellow and green foliage. Another strong selection that forms dense clumps.
Arching 2-inch wide blades that have a central yellow band that is brighter when first emerging and fades to yellow-green by fall. Can tolerate fairly dry conditions (Coastal) but looks best with occasional to regular irrigation. Full sun to partial shade.
Variegated foliage. Eastern US native.
'Yellow Wave' has arching yellow and green striped leaves. Our biggest plants have been 2' tall and 2-3' across after several years.
