Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rare dwarf clumping cultivar to 3' high & wide...stays low and does not form a trunk. Clean, sculptural, contemporary look with dark green evergreen strappy leaves, pointed but friendly. Specimen quality, also perfect in that special pot. Prefers full sun, takes light shade, enjoys coast, well-drained soil, drought tolerant. We think this guy is non flowering, but time will tell. Very little info on hardiness, we have found most of this species has been hardy for us in the PNW (more so than Phormium), many of them returned after single digits from the roots.
