Foliage colors will make you drool, but don’t eat this pretty thing! Bronze red, evergreen leaves fade to a spicy orange with contrasty, deep red veins in dense mounds 6-8” tall and slowly expanding to 20” wide. Cream flowers on tall red stems in early summer are delicate and showy. Plants are vigorous and more heat/humidity tolerant as they are a hybrid cross of Heucherella and Tiarella. Morning sun to bright shade in good garden soil with regular moisture. Also splendid in containers.
Heucherellas are evergreen, mounding perennials that are attractive year round. Heucherella ‘Pumpkin Spice’ displays gorgeous bronzy orange, lobed leaves with dark veins and a nice, creased texture. Dainty white flowers appear on tall stalks that attract hummingbirds and butterflies alike. An excellent groundcover for shade. Foamy Bells will tolerate full sun in more Northern areas as long as adequate moisture is provided.
