Actaea 'Cheju-Do' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with burgundy foliage. In fall and summer white flowers emerge. Attracts bees and beneficial insects making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - dappled shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, clay, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.
Say you do, say you do, Cheju-Do! Basal clumps of expanding glossy lobed leaves erupting with multiple 30” spikes of white buds flare to delicate, brushy flowers in late summer/early fall. Interesting and rarely offered, this perennial enjoys bright shade in moist, organic soil. Very at home at woodland’s edge. If happy, clumps will expand into small colonies. USDA Zone 5-9 3" pot
