Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A well behaved Hakea for smaller gardens or courtyards. It grows to a nice rounded form with richly colored flowers during the bleak winter months. The flowers are borne along the trunk and branches and attract nectar-loving pollinators. A great alternative to Hakea laurina is space is limited. Provide it with full sun and good air movement for best results. Adaptable to most soils. Hardy to at least 26 °F.
