An inspiring candelabra type primrose from Bhutan with red buds opening to apricot orange flowers whorled around 24” stems in early summer. Basal foliage is medium green and scalloped. This is a ‘Primmie’ for a boggy, moist spot with bright shade. As with most of this genus, the preferred soil is rich and fertile.
