Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dark purplish pink petals and sepals are topped by a corona of brightly contrasting mostly white filaments with a dark purplish-red inner halo. Victoria is one of the very first Passiflora hybrids and will flower throughout summer with pollinated flowers producing interesting orange edible passion fruit. Hardy into zone 8 where provided with a mulch and good drainage but easy and small enough to enjoy in a container. This tropical hybrid may overwinter in the warmer portions of zone 8B with sufficient protection (mulch + east or south exposure) and it doesn't stay too wet. During winter (the natural dry season for this plant) it should be kept slightly dryer, though in summer it seems to appreciate a moderate amount of moisture.
