Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hoya wayetii ‘Tricolor” has long vines displaying lime, oval leaves variegated with margins of deep green. Occasional large clusters of night fragrant, pink star flowers appear. Plants rebloom multiple times on same stem spur so do not remove.
The new foliage of this Stringbean Hoya look alike are touched in pinks and near reds and mature to a nice medium yellow to cream and green with a dark outline on each narrow leaf. This variegated form of Hoya wayetii is a vigorous, yet dainty, and easy to grow Waxflower that creates a tight mat of fine stems and dense foliage that is perfectly suited to spilling from containers and hanging baskets on warm shaded patios and porches. The dense low growth of Hoya wayetii should lend it to use as a groundcover beneath larger plants with similar growing requirements.
