    Echeandia texensis is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer yellow flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Small clusters of 1" medium yellow lily-like flowers or born on tall slender, 3-5' spikes in fall well above the low light green rosettes of soft succulent narrow strap-like foliage. The Texas Craglily is a rare Texas native that is Texas tough and surprisingly cold tolerant considering it's native home is in the southern most tip of the panhandle. An easy clump-forming perennial for well-drained soils. Texas Craglily is sometimes placed in the Agavaceae, Anthericaceae, and Asparagaceae families. May sometimes be called Yellow Mexican Hat Lily.
