Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The first sterile red flowered cultivar! Summer Sips™ Sangria Buddleia, or Butterfly Bush, produces wave after wave of deep purplish-red, fragrant, nectar rich flowers in dense conical clusters throughout the growing season. Sterile flowered Buddleias can flower nearly continuously throughout the growing season and practically eliminate the chance that this plant will become an invasive species. Summer Sips™ Sangria Butterfly Bush has a nice dense compact habit and contrasting gray-green foliage. It matures to about 4' high and wide making it small enough for sunny containers or as an addition to the garden and landscape.
