Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Cherry pink tubular flowers are born from spring to fall on this Texas tough Skullcap. Texas Pink Skullcap is a low mounding shrub-like perennial with gray green foliage that is well suited to full sun to partial sun conditions in a well-drained soil. Pest, disease, and drought resistant. Attracts a wide range of pollinators. Initially collected near Monterrey, Mexico by David Creech, Ray Jordan, and Lynn Lowery, Texas Pink Skullcap has taken Texas by storm since that time and can be found in gardens throughout the state. A light late winter pruning should be all that is necessary when it comes to maintenance.
