It has a dense vase-shaped habit and can be pruned even in fall and will still flower the following spring. The Pearlbush is a hardy, heirloom, deciduous shrub that is tolerant of part shade to full sun in a well-drained average moist soil. The upright densely branched stems of Magical® Springtime Pearlbush make for excellent cut flowers and these plants generally flower at the same time as Flowering Quince making them elegant companions that will brighten up the early spring garden.
