Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Wow, what an aptly named beauty! Truly one of the showiest and most elegant variegated Camellias to date! The flowers of Irrational Exuberance are composed of petals that are broadly edged in white and quickly change into brilliantly contrasting deep rosy red at its heart. The medium sized flowers can take many forms and are produced in midseason (February and March) on a moderately slow growing and somewhat weeping to spreading shrub making it a great evergreen to place in front of larger Camellias, in containers, and as a medium to low hedge. Expect Irrational Exuberance Camellia to reach about half the size of typical Camellia Japonica cultivars in 10 years.
