Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Produces larger purple flowers with a slightly lighter red-purple eye and less conspicuous white throat, Henlea's Hummingbird Heaven Porterweed appears to be the true Lavender Porterweed although it has a denser more compact growth habit than our Coral Porterweed. Like all of our Porterweeds, this one is an exceptional flowering plant producing copious amounts of nectar for hummingbirds, butterflies, and a variety of bees from spring to fall or year round in warm, frost-free climates. We hope you will enjoy this new cultivar, named after Jeff's granddaughter, as much as our pollinator
