    Clerodendrum minahassae is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub with green foliage. In spring and summer white flowers emerge followed by blue fruit. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

    Clusters of fragrant, starry white flowers that open from the end of long tubes are produced from spring through summer on this large fountaining tropical shrub. Clerodendrum minahassae, a.k.a. Fountain Clerodendrum or Tube Flower, naturally develops into a 10' x 10' arching shrub with a vase shaped habit but can be kept smaller with pruning. The flowers of this rare tropical attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and most likely hummingbird moths. Pollinated flowers produce bright red calyces that subtend the blue-black berries and creating a nice contrast with the white flowers. Begins flowering even as a small plant. Provide a full to mostly sunny location for the best flowering and densest growth habit.
