Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A vigorous and free flowering selection of the common Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, Floribunda produces 2" wide, fragrant flowers that open a deep purple, fade to lavender, and finally to white creating a multi-colored effect. The nectar rich flowers are butterfly pollinated. Floribunda is a vigorous grower and, as the name suggests, repeat flowering tropical shrub that may reach 6-8'H x 6-8'W naturally evergreen shrub in the garden or landscape where hardy or it can easily be maintained as smaller container plant. Provide a fertile, average to well-drained, moist acidic soil and it is tolerant of *full sun to light shade. Floribunda Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow is considered to be hardy well into zone 9 but only remains evergreen under tropical conditions. Some sources suggest that it is hardy into the teens but we have not tested that in our 8B garden as of yet. *In areas with hot summer climates this Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow may be best where it receives shade during the hottest part of the day.
