Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Horcos' Firefly is an exciting, compact, reblooming cultivar that displays large mopheads of semi-double, bicoloured, picotee florets of red to deep pink with a cheery contrasting creamy white eye touched with green and yellow. Soil pH will not change flower colour. Provide a moist, well-drained soil and shade during the hottest part of the day. Use close to the house, in containers and on the patio or deck.

Double Bloom with amazing bi-color pigments. This beautiful new plant has just stunning colors so far and we can't wait to see it turn blue or purple. Butter yellow centers with bright pink edges is a definite show stopper for your garden. New leaf growth is burgundy red fading to pure green (like Sabrina, Sol and Miss Saori). So far it's staying more compact in nature so we hope to call it one of our favorite semi-dwarf hydrangeas staying around 4' with pruning. Limited numbers on this one. Flowers may be blue to purple in acid to neutral soils with the same contrasting eye. This Hydrangea is reblooming and established plants can flower throughout summer under good conditions. Provide a moist, well-drained soil and provide shade during the hottest portion of the day.
