This amazing 3-5' shrub has white flowers in early summer that change to pink in summer and bright burgundy in fall, an amazing progression of ice-to-fire on a sturdy, easy-going plant. PSh/M PPAF
Large pyramidal to rounded clusters of creamy white flowers are produced in spring and change to pink in summer and deepen to red in late summer and fall. Fire and Ice is compact and heat tolerant Panicle or PeeGee Hydrangea well suited to the garden or landscape where it is sure to provide at least three seasons of interest. Provide a full to mostly sunny location in a moist but well-drained soil for the best growth and flowering.
We haven't had any H. paniculata for several years. We are offering H. 'Fire & Ice'. It starts blooming white turning bright pink later in the summer. The plant can be pruned hard and kept to 5-6' or left alone to make a large shrub to 10-12'.
