Cinnamon Girl is considered the most cold hardy Distylium to zone 7a. It also has the smallest, darkest blue-green leaves and the most colorful new growth - it's plum purple and very showy. For these reasons, it's my absolute favorite Distylium. It's as heat tolerant, drought tolerant, and tough as any other Distylium kid on the block.
