    Lagerstroemia Midnight Magic™ PP25925 is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with burgundy and purple foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - occasional water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

    Midnight Magic crapemyrtle is unique in flower and foliage. Midnight is a good name for the dark dark purple foliage that holds up perfectly well in the sizzling heat we get here in the Deep South. Magic is a good name for the way the deep pink flowers look against this almost black foliage. The size is perfect to blend into a planting with other shrubs and perennials. It's a good size for a container plant too. We think our two purple-leaved crapemyrtles are "wow plants" and offer them as choices for your varying preferences. Lagerstroemia Midnight Magic is smaller than Sunset Magic and has pink flowers instead of coral red. Midnight Magic crapemyrtle is another First Editions® crapemyrtle developed to expand the color pallet.
