Bossiaea linophylla is a fast-growing broadleaf evergreen shrub with green foliage. In fall and summer red and yellow flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Ultra-rare in the United States, this Spring-flowering shrub produces eye-catching pea-shaped blooms that drip from the tips of pendulous branches. The 1/2" flowers appear in MASSIVE clusters in an eye-catching color – brilliant yellow with bright red central highlights. They’re followed by brown, papery seed pods. This Western Australian native grows up to 6’ tall and 5’ wide with narrow, 1” long evergreen foliage. It thrives in sandy soil and coastal conditions – if you have clay please amend it thoroughly before planting or consider a large container (half wine barrel or bigger). Drought tolerant once established.
