How can you not love Lilies? Cold hardy, almost indestructible, looooong lived and so often deliciously fragrant! Originally selected many years ago from seedlings of L. ‘Aurelian Hybrids’, these plants come directly from bulbils collected from the mom plant in my home garden. Easy to place at only 40” tall, ‘Aurelian Lemon Yellow’ bears plentiful, ethereal 4-5” blooms, with more appearing every year. Graceful and fragrant with gently reflexed petals beautifully spotted in sable, the blooms display showy prominent sable anthers. Mine blooms in June and July on upright stalks. SO EASY to grow in average soil or pamper them in compost enhanced soil for most prolific bloom. Dreamy in cottage gardens, borders or containers (15+ gal.) and fantastic cut flowers! Collect and plant the bulbils that form on main stem for free new plants! Deciduous.
