Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Oh la la! Can you imagine a more romantic little bouquet than this seductive, lipstick-red Viola? Velvety deep scarlet 3” blooms accented with a distinct maroon-black butterfly-shaped center sit atop a tidy evergreen foliage mound 6-8” tall & wide. I would love to see this one planted en masse! And, since Violas are edible, wouldn’t they look scrumptious on a chocolate ganache cake? Yummy! Plant in well-drained soil, give it a bit of shade in hotter inland areas, & protect from frost for successful overwintering. Provide fertilizer & ample water.
