Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Here’s a rare little plant that’s been happily residing in my garden for several years now. It looks like a short Verbascum (to 2’ tall) but produces 10 to 20 spikes simultaneously from the base, Spring thru Summer. The flowers are a cheery bright yellow with purple and orange stamens. Nice at front of bed and great in a container. It’s native to Cretan cliff sides, so provide excellent drainage for a healthy plant.
