Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Impressive, almost white, densely downy leaves and stems are the striking feature of this rare and unusual Australian member of the tomato family. Forming a nice rounded perennial shrub 2-3’ tall, it bears quite showy and large 1.5” purple flowers centers by bright yellow stamens. New growth is also flushed purple. Sounds good, huh? In its native habitat it’s found growing in sandy soil along the coast, so you’ll want to give it good drainage. Fruits are edible!
