Nursery contributed plant descriptions

All of us here at "Annie's" are totally charmed by this well-behaved, super bloomy Sage introduced into cultivation by English nurseryman William Dyson. Originating from high altitude hybrids of S. greggii and S. microphylla found growing in Mexico, it's a hardy and all-season bloomer bearing plentiful 1" flowers in a lovely and unusual shade of salmony-pink. And with its tidy foliage and 3' x 3' compact rounded habit, it's a pleasant addition to any garden and an easy, long blooming container plant. Prefers well drained soil with some compost mixed in, it needs little water once established. Cut back to 6" in late winter/early spring. Deer resistant! Hummers! Hardy to 14 °F!
