Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Winter splendor! Super rare and fabulously flamboyant, this shrub from southern Mexico produces MASSIVE clusters of 1” yellow daisy-esque flowers with orange centers all thru Winter! It’s a great way to brighten the garden and feed the bees (who go bonkers for these blooms) during those wet and dreary months when almost nothing else is flowering. Forms a multi-branching shrub up to 15’ tall, but can be pruned to maintain a more compact form. Plant in well-draining soil and provide protection from frost and hot afternoon sun. Happy in humid or foggy conditions. Can be overwintered indoors.
