Wild collected in Chile, this unknown treasure isn’t fussy, blooming abundantly for months (even in winter in the Bay Area) with irresistible, darkest violet, 1.25” trumpet flowers. To 16” x 16”, with a multitude of branchy stems bearing finely divided foliage, it’s wonderful in a container & a delightful surprise planted in a succulent garden paired with silver or golden foliage like Orostachys or Sedum x adolphii. Cut back when spent. May overwinter. Best in well drained soil. Butterflies!
