Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A profusion of pink blossoms flower all season long on this shade tolerant shrub rose! 1.5” semi-double blooms emerge from bright pink buds before fading to palest pink. Growing to 5’ high & wide with attractive, glossy foliage – this vigorous heirloom variety from the early 1900’s bears its lightly fragrant blooms in huge swaths of color. Makes a lovely, romantique hedge rose that pairs beautifully with its soul mate Rosa ‘Robin Hood’. Prune back lightly in Spring to maintain a bushy form. Note: All of our roses are grown on their own root stock – never grafted! This means they tend to be healthier, more drought tolerant, & all around happier plants.
