Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the best, most floriferous “hellstrip” plants out there and gorgeous to boot! Lovely ‘Lavender’ produces fist-sized clusters of 2” white blooms with a sumptuous pinky-purple blush at the tips and velvety maroon markings. Grows to about 3-4’ tall and wide with soft, lightly fragrant, evergreen leaves. Needs only occasional water once established and an annual pruning to maintain a nice, bushy shape. In zones where it’s not hardy it can be grown in a container and overwintered indoors in a sunny window. Grows fastest in rich loamy soil, but tolerates poor soil and clay with aplomb!
