Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The deep green leaves of this stunning succulent take on a BRILLIANT shade of terracotta red when exposed to strong sunlight or cold temperatures. Forms a pretty, multi-branching, low-growing mound of rosettes 2-3’ tall and wide. In Summer, HUMMER-attracting bell-shaped coral blooms arise on multiple erect, arching stalks for a long-lasting floral display and surprisingly nice cut flowers for mini bouquets! Lovely in a container. Needs protection from frost so either cover or move indoors until the danger has passed. Provide excellent drainage and allow to dry out between waterings for a happy healthy plant.
