Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We may be the only nursery in the US to grow this very rare, ultra-pretty ground-hugging annual Twinspur that has the most wonderful coloration of any Diascia we’ve ever seen! Found only in the Little Karoo region of South Africa and blooming continuously Spring thru Summer, the 1” flowers are softest primrose yellow with vividly intense contrasting violet centers bobbing on dainty 6” stems all over the 1.5’ wide, bright green low tufted foliage. Ideal for hanging baskets, mixed containers or as edging for any mostly sunny bed. Nature, so smart, so cool! EASY to grow in sun or part shade with average water and rich well-draining soil (can tolerate clay soil, but will yield fewer and smaller sized blooms).
