Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Wow! Growing to an unprecedented height of 4’ tall , I’m surprised someone hasn’t tagged this newly introduced (2012) Diascia with the name ‘Monstrosa’. THREE TIMES TALLER than any “Twinspur” I’ve ever seen & to a bushy 3’ across , this floriferous showstopper creates a cloud of larger than usual 1.5”, strong mid-pink blooms over a long season – from May to September! Pretty & substantial bright green foliage. Sure to be a hit in your garden, do provide well drained soil with some compost added for eye-popping performance. Perfect combined with long blooming fellow South African perennial Felicia aethiopica ‘Tight & Tidy’. Great in large containers. Cut back to 6” tall in Winter. Hardy to 32 degrees °F.
