Nursery contributed plant descriptions

From the Mediterranean comes this rare & unusual Delphinium. Smokey-blue & lavender starflowers are densely packed atop thick, erect 3’ to 4’ spikes in Summer. Attractive, shiny marbled star-shaped leaves are an added bonus. To 18” wide. Does well in poor soil, but needs good drainage. It reseeds, too! Way back in the Middle Ages folks made a soap out of the seeds to rid themselves of parasites. Needless to say all parts of the plant are toxic.
