Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A wonderfully showy EVERGREEN clumping grass with giant feathery flower heads! Forming a DENSE mound of deep-green foliage highlighted by the coppery tones of older leaves, the form of this New Zealand native tussock grass is initially erect. As it matures, it takes on an attractive semi-weeping form 3’ high & wide, remaining lush & beautiful all year long. In late Summer, erect flower stalks rise 3’ above the foliage topped by MASSIVE 18” long weeping golden plumes. Absolutely stunning! Makes a choice addition to bouquets, fresh or dried. Provide good drainage for a happy plant. NOT INVASIVE!
