Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A petite cabbage for your petite cabbage patch – ‘Pixie’ (no relation to our dear retail employee “Pixie”, but both are fabulous) is a compact early variety ideal for small spaces. Tight, mid-green pointed heads with sweet flavor, good internal structure, & few outer leaves are the hallmarks of this variety. So pretty in the garden! I fully encourage you to let your cabbages roam free & intermingle with your ornamentals before they are converted into kimchee, slaw or other such deliciousness. Space 1’ apart in rich, deep soil for cabbage success. If planted in early Spring, expect harvest before the Summer solstice & if in August, before bolting time in Spring.
