We first noticed this low spreading summer bloomer in a British gardening journal a few years ago. Like its taller cousin Verbena bonariensis, this low spreading Verbena blooms endlessly from mid July to frost. Clusters of lavender purple flowers carried on decumbent branches are most attractive to pollinators. grows 12" tall by 18' wide. Hardy to about 0 °F, it loves sunshine and well-drained soil conditions.
