Clematis 'Chloe' is a bush clematis, not a vine! Very versatile and heavy flowering with a nice habit 24 inches high and wide. Single, bell-shaped flowers are violet to bluish violet with yellow tipped anthers. A heavy bloomer from late spring to frost. Shear after flowering to the first leaf nodes for another flush of foliage and flowers. Stake or allow to ramble. Great in hanging baskets too. Blooms on old and new wood - Group 3. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer resistant.
