'Bernd' is a lovely hybrid of the Eurasian Cypripedium macranthos and the Taiwanese C. segawai with glowing, mid pink tepals and pouches striped with deeper pink and white. Flowers can be 1-3 per stem on plants 8-16 inches tall. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size with multiple eyes.
