    Salvia hierosolymitana is a broadleaf deciduous perennial herb with green foliage. In summer pink and red flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

Each lobster claw shaped flower is two-toned, with a pale pink lower petal and the upper petal ranging in color from a cheerful rosy pink to a sultry wine red. Great for bees! This eastern Mediterranean wildflower forms a dense, ground-hugging 1’ high and 2’ wide basal rosette of ruffled, fragrant leaves. Provide excellent drainage and avoid over-watering for best health and longest life.
