Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The bold foliage on this rare perennial is stunning, marbled generously with bright yellow, with an occasional ‘all yellow’ leaf. Arching, upright stems are red at tips, plants reaching 4-5′. Glistening, translucent, red-purple fruits in late summer are tightly packed and very showy. Sun to part shade, most soils, average to moist soil (not soggy). Ours has a few seedlings every year, all variegated. Deer don’t touch it.
