Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Lovely myrrh fragrance perfumes beautiful deeply cupped, light apricot blooms that are darker in the very double centers and lighter at the outer ruffled edges. Bushes are a compact 3’ which performs well even in warmer areas. Flowers are continuous, excellent cut flower. OWN ROOTS ROSE.
Leander Group. Apricot-pink. Approximately 80 petals. Repeat flowering. A short, bushy rose that can be used in rose beds or towards the front of a border. The flowers are medium-sized and apricot-pink in color, becoming a very soft pale pink towards the edges. At first they are of neat, cupped formation, later opening out into a very attractive rosette. A tough, free flowering and altogether trouble-free rose which does particularly well in the U.S.A. and especially in hotter areas. Has the fine English Rose, myrrh fragrance which is almost unique to English Roses. Named for the very well-loved British radio series ‘The Archers’ that has been running for over 50 years. Height 3 ft. x 2 ft. (David Austin 1990, Auswonder). Medium sized flowers. 80 petals.
