Gaura coccinea is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In fall and summer red and white flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular - occasional water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil.
