cactus / succulent
Gasteria batesiana is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In spring and summer coral, green and salmon flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects, birds and hummingbirds. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter, dry when dormant. Does well in average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
