    Abutilon 'Tangerine Mist' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub with green foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter apricot and orange flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

    We like to think all of our introductions are the result of lots of hard-work and research, however this introduction was a chance seedling behind the mist bench. And after many indiscriminate choppings-back, we discovered very large warm orange flowers and leaves, the largest of any we've grown - possibly even larger than Donald Trump's hands. Fabulous container plant, light afternoon shade, good nutrients, with even moisture. USDA zone 9a, probably colder.
